What to Check After Opening an iTaoBuy Spreadsheet Find
A practical check for the product identity, selected option and current price after a spreadsheet find opens its destination page.
The short version.
A spreadsheet card is a research lead. On this site its product link opens an external catalog result; any later buying step happens on the destination or agent service, not inside this spreadsheet. Recheck identity, option and price at each handoff before acting.
Saved card in this buildCarry the item identity across the click.

After opening a result, compare the title and image first; then check the selected option and current price. If any of those change, treat it as a new research lead—not as the same confirmed find.
The first click is a handoff, not a checkout
The spreadsheet saves a product title, image, category, approximate price and destination URL at build time. Clicking a find opens the external catalog, where the fuller result may provide current options and a path to a buying service. This site does not take payment or control the seller listing.
Because the card and destination are maintained separately, a link can lead to a changed page later. A redirect or familiar-looking image is not enough to prove it is still the same product.
Compare identity before comparing prices
Start with the title and primary image, then inspect the selected color, size or model. If a search result or agent page looks merely similar, pause. An approximate spreadsheet price is meaningful only if the identity and option are comparable.
For a branded silhouette, do not infer authenticity or product quality from the card. The research question is whether the linked listing still describes the item you intended to investigate.
- Same product or model?
- Same color, size and seller option?
- Same price basis and currency?
What to do if the destination changed
A missing page, new title or changed option is a signal to start the search again. You can use the product phrase as a new search term, but a replacement result is a new candidate—not proof that the old card is still current.
This matters for QC references too. A count attached to the old catalog record should not be transferred to another listing simply because the photo looks close.
The last check belongs where you pay
If you continue to an agent service, confirm the exact selected option, item price and any service or shipping amounts shown there. Revisit the size and QC questions before committing, especially when the destination’s description is incomplete.
Keeping each handoff explicit makes a spreadsheet useful without implying that a saved link is a live stock or checkout guarantee.
Three takeaways
- 01
A find card leads to a destination result, not a guaranteed checkout.
- 02
Verify identity and option before using its price or QC signal.
- 03
Treat a changed or broken link as a new research task.
